DeDNAed @ MAIN Focus Day on Quantum Dots

The MAIN research center at the Technical University of Chemnitz (TUC) hosted its MAIN Focus Day on Quantum Dots on 18 January 2024.

The event consisted of 2 research seminars held at the MAIN facilities and a colloquium in the central auditorium.

Julia Hann presented a poster showing the possibility of integrating quantum dots with the DNA origami on surfaces, using the example of our activities in nanoparticles and biomolecules with DeDNAed.

ANTHOS 2024, 4-7 March 2024, Vienna

The “Advanced (Nano)Materials and Technologies: science, research & innovation for safety and sustainability” Summit 2024 (ANTHOS 2024) promotes the advancements in technological innovation & research results on Safe-by-Design (SbD) for advanced (nano)materials and beyond.

General Assembly in Potsdam

From November 8-10, 2023, the DeDNAed consortium gathered for our M30 General Assembly, hosted by our partner the University of Potsdam.

The program started with work package presentations and discussion of the project’s progress, challenges and achievements. Members of our Advisory Board were present to provide valuable feedback, as well.

All partners then joined for hands-on experiments, delving deep into methodologies crucial for the development of our biosensing platform.

DeDNAed workshop: Advancing Raman Spectroscopy with DNA Origami

On 29 August 2023, the DeDNAed project will host a workshop entitled “DeDNAed: Advancing Raman
Spectroscopy with DNA Origami” within the 4th European Biosensor Symposium in Aachen, Germany, on the campus of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
