DeDNAed 3rd General Assembly in San Sebastián
From 28-29 April 2022, members of the DeDNAed project consortium met in San Sebastián and online to provide updates on the project’s progress after 1 year. The in-person event took place at the premises of beneficiary TECNALIA. Over one-and-a-half days, the 8 work packages presented their progress, challenges and next steps, and there was ample time for discussions. A tour of the TECNALIA/CICBMG premises and a dinner rounded out the event.
The project is on track to develop a novel, innovative biosensing platform that is sensitive, versatile and ultrafast by an optical approach. Members of the team gave updates on the design and production of biorecognition elements based on aptamers and antibodies, design and synthesis of DNA origami and DNA origami hybrids. Integration of DNA origami hybrids and safety-by design aspects of the novel DNA origami based biosensor platform were also discussed.
The DeDNAed team consists of 7 international partners from Austria, France, Germany and Spain. To stay updated on developments, follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter.
